Dr. Milton Douglas Quigless, Sr.

Dr. Milton Douglas Quigless, Sr. was founder of the first African-American hospital in the Twin Counties, a part of which was later given to the NC Museum of History. Dr. Quigless was also a community activist who worked to improve relations within the area.
